Celebrate This Week-3/24

It’s Saturday and that means it is time to reflect on the week and celebrate things both big and small. Join our community and celebrate this week by linking up or just stopping by the host Ruth Ayres’ blog to read others’ celebrations.

Spring Break

I made it through the last couple of crazy weeks! We all need a break and I hope that after our time away, my students will not be on each other’s nerves so much. Having some time away will be good for us all.

Alone Time

As an introvert, I love time to myself. I get so much energy from being alone and being able to do whatever I please. This week, I will have a lot of time to myself. My husband’s school does not have the same break as mine, so I am off and he is not. That gives me all kinds of alone time during the work week. I am really looking forward to that time to myself.

My New Coffee Cup and The Ultimate Coffee Machine

I splurged last week on a fun new travel mug at my local coffee shop, Colectivo coffee.  I had so much fun using this mug each day this week. The best part is the fancy coffee machine that is available to me at my apartment lobby. Great coffee in a fun mug puts a smile on my face to start the day.

What do you have to celebrate this week? I would love to hear from you in the comments!

  1. It’s spring break here, too, though I’m no longer teaching any more, I am taking the break with my family, off to the mountains! Enjoy your new mug each day as you love that alone time, Andrea. I know what you mean. I like that time, too.

  2. That is a fun mug! Enjoy the quiet moments of your break. I am in the middle of my break- it feels greatโ€™

  3. Getting out to the Madison March For Our Lives . So many young people, so much hope, made my heart sing today.

    1. It looked like so many people were there! That is awesome. So glad you are feeling well enough to get out and do this!!

  4. I could use a break. Not yet. our break is in April. Enjoy every moment of your alone time, slow time, quiet time, and warm cups of coffee.

    1. Thank you! Hang in there until your break comes…it will be here sooner than you know it.

    1. Yes, I know how you feel! This last week before break is always crazy! So, good luck this week. My husband is in the same boat.

  5. My celebrations for the week began Wednesday when I joined my 2 high school daughters for their choir tour as a parent chaperone. I blogged about our adventure each day, Wednesday-Saturday. There simply was way too much to share for just one post. ๐Ÿ™‚

My spring break is this week too – as an introvert like you, I too find that time alone helps me recharge. I hope to take a few hikes with my dogs & listen to a few podcasts, as well as continue with blogging for Slice of Life. Hope your break is restful!
